My sister was hospitalized for 3 1/2 months after suffering from acute respiratory failure and was placed on life support. In the first few weeks the doctors didn't know why her respiratory system had failed nor had any idea why she could not mover her arms or legs. It was nearly a month later that she was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. Patient PAL was there every step of the way giving me emotional support in the ups and downs, reassuring me that all would be okay, and providing me with information on the various community resources available. Dear Patient PAL On behalf or our entire family, we wanted to take a moment and extend our heartfelt thanks for all you have done to help us through this difficult situation. Brock is doing great and his eye is looking better every day. Although we still don't have the final prognosis of how they will treat his growth (Langerhans histiocytosis), we are hopeful that we will soon be able to continue on with a somewhat normal life.
